Bienvenue sur le site de la Section française de la MLTAQ !

The aim of the French Teachers' Branch of the Modern Language Teachers' Association of Queensland (MLTAQ) is to

•Support teachers (professional development and sharing of resource
•Represent Queensland teachers of French at National and International Levels
•Organise activities for students (immersion day, camps, competitions, trips to New Caledonia, etc.)
Members of the French Teacher’s Branch of the MLTAQ automatically become members of: AFMLTA, FATFA (Federation of Associations of Teachers of French in Australia) and FIPF (Fédération Internationale des Professeurs de Français).

The French Branch consists of members who teach French.

French Branch - Dates for 2012

Tuesday 1 May - French Branch Meeting 4:30 - 6 pm St Josephs College, Gregory Terrace.

Friday 8 June – Due date for Yr 7+8 Poster Competition (T2 Wk 8)
Friday 3 August – Yr 10 Immersion Day, Lavalla Centre (T3 Wk 3)
Friday 26 October – Yr 9 Immersion day, Lavalla Centre (T4 Wk 3)

French Poster Competition

 Year 5, 6 and 7 Poster Competition
LE QUATORZE JUILLET !

This year the competition is open to students in Years 5, 6 and 7 only. There will be three prizes awarded in each year level.
1st Prize: $40
2nd Prize: $30
3rd Prize: $20

Entry fee: $2 per entry.

Due Date: 1 June
